Vocational training: Germany is known for its effective vocational training system, which has trainees alternate between study and work periods. To accept trainees, a company needs to be certified. Varengold Bank received its certificate from the City of Hamburg’s chamber of commerce. We offer traineeships for “IT Specialists for Application Development” and “Office Administrators”. Due to the nature of vocational training, you will need sufficient German language skills to enter one of the programs.
Work student programs: Nearly every specialist department at Varengold Bank – be it Legal, Compliance or Inhouse Consulting – offers work student assignments for up to 20 work hours/week on top of your study load.
Integrated degree program: You are looking for a study program with a focus on practical application and excellent career perspectives? Starting October 2021, we are offering the integrated degree program “Applied Computer Sciences” in cooperation with Nordakademie, which is located in Hamburg’s metropolitan region. You will be able to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in 7 semesters (standard period of study). Just like our vocational training programs, the integrated degree program requires a sufficient command of the German language.
